This Smart RF data Modem will
transmit your camera or access control data from a remote site to a home
base 5 or more miles (8km) away— depending on antennas used, their height
above ground, surrounding terrain, buildings in transmission path, etc. |

PTZ-2 works with most manufacturers’
controllers that use RS-232, RS422 or RS-485 serial data to command
their Domes & Cameras |

field use or from a 12 VDC wall adapter (115/230 VAC) |

Precision radio transmitter
section uses a temperature compensated crystal circuit for top reliability;
receiver section is also crystal controlled. |

| The PTZ-2 is a special purpose
RF modem, 4800 to 9600 bps, on 12.5 kHz radio channels, and up to 19.2
kbps on 25 kHz channels. It is RS232, 422 & 485 compatible.
The PTZ-2 doesn’t care how the data is formatted, but buffers it before
transmission. It may be used as a general purpose RF data modem as well
as to transmit control information for cameras & access equipment such
as gates, doors, etc. Tested with Kalatel & Pelco.
Should work with, but not yet tested with: Vicon, Sensormatic. Check
with us for latest status. |
