20 Watt Variable RF Power Amplifier
Model CVA-2

A Power Amp to go the distance you need !
The CVA-2 is a general purpose Power Amplifier designed to boost the RF output of any 100 mW to 350 mW device operating between 890 and 950 MHz (806 to 870 MHz by request), to20 Watts or more.
C V A - 2   F e a t u r e s
bullet 20 to 50 mile range (depending on antennas, elevation and terrain) with 20 Watts guaranteed output at 14 VDC.
bullet CVA-2 output power is completely variable from 4 Watts to 20 Watts to suit a variety of applications and conditions (1W to 20 W on special order).
bullet Wide operating range of 10.5 to 15.5 V gets maximum life out of battery for field and remote location use, or connect to 115/230 VAC with our PS-12 power supply.
bullet The CVA-2 is fully protected against a Reversed Battery or Power connection.  Over Voltage and Over Temperature conditions shut off Amplifier to prevent damage.
bullet RF Output is protected against defective Antennas or Cables & all load mismatches to a VSWR of 20:1.
bullet Fan is a high reliability, brushless, ball bearing design and is temperature controlled to keep the CVA-2 Amplifier cool for maximum life.
bullet Power connector is a rugged, locking type used for reliability and to simplify hook-up.
bullet A multifunction LED (Light Emitting Diode) Pilot Light turns from Green (normal operation), to Red to show Low Battery, Over Voltage and Over Temperature conditions.
bullet Highly efficient Power Amplifier circuit minimizes current consumption to prolong battery life.
